Vibram UK took a stand at the first ever National Running Show last weekend and were inundated with customers wanting to try on and buy FiveFingers and Furoshiki.
The show had over 20,000 pre-registered visitors and it appeared that most of them were ready and waiting for the show to open at 9.00am on the Saturday morning! It was very busy.
The team of three Chris Wilson, Dan Hume and Adam Hammond from UK distributor’s Charles Birch Ltd were waiting for them and had the visitors trying on their FiveFingers and Furoshiki in no time. There was a treadmill on the stand so all the customers could take their turn in testing the shoes before making their purchase.
“It was an unprecedented success” said Chris Wilson. Managing Director of Vibram UK distributor Chares Birch Ltd. “Owing to the strong awareness of the Vibram brand and interest in barefoot, minimalist running generally, there was a huge appetite for Vibram FiveFingers at the National Running Show. Visitors then turned their attention to the Furoshiki “The Wrapping Sole” and the Vibram Five Toes socks”
Vibram UK would like to thank the show organisers for doing a great job and accepting their booking for a 50% bigger stand next year.
