Collected Data. In accordance with art. 13 of the Italian legislative decree n. 196 of 30 June 2003 (hereinafter “Code"), Vibram S.p.A. (hereinafter “Vibram”) with registered office at Via C. Colombo 5, 21041 Albizzate (VA), Italy, as Data Controller informs that some personal data of users of www.vibram.com (hereinafter "Web Site") will be processed in order to allow the delivery of services available through the Web Site among which the demand / supply of information about products and services of Vibram and distance selling of Vibram products (hereinafter "Products") and therefore the execution of orders of users and the performance of related activities, including after-sales service (hereinafter "Services"). Personal data of the users of the Services shall especially consist in some data provided directly by them (i.e. personal data such as name, surname, address, country, gender, telephone number, date of birth, e-mail address, credit card number) and data collected during the browsing on the Web Site (i.e. reviews and comments on Products, IP-address on other information provided by Cookies, as defined below) or the use of Services by users (i.e. standard of spending in Products, Products model and amount of purchased) (hereinafter “Personal Data").
Processing Purpose. Personal Data will be processed primarily for the following purposes: (a) to complete your purchase; (b) to provide after-sales services and overall information about Products and Services and Vibram purchase network/services; (c) to permit Vibram to carry out its internal administrative task and to comply with all applicable laws and/or orders of public authorities; (d) to protect and enforce the rights of Vibram, including its property rights, and take action for the protection of the Web Site; (e) as part of any corporate reorganization processes, including without limitation mergers, acquisition and total disposal or for the most of Vibram assets; (f) to protect against potential fraud.
Personal Data may also be used by Vibram to send newsletters and other promotional materials on similar services to those previously purchased on the Web Site, unless the user declares his/her refusal to receive this kind of information/newsletter, sending at any time an e-mail to vibram@vibram.com.
When you register on the Web Site or place an order through the Web Site, you expressly consent to receiving commercial communications by Vibram and/or to having Vibram perform marketing analysis using your Personal Data also to send you customized promotional communications.
Processing Method: Personal Data will be stored in Vibram’s servers, which are located in Demandware company at 5 Wall Street Burlington, MA 01803 USA and they will be processed (electronically or otherwise) for Services management purpose and to comply with any obligation required by applicable law. These Personal Data, suitably anonymized, will be also used for conducting statistics marketing analysis (through anonymous data). If you expressly consent, Personal Data will be used also to send you customized promotional communications.
Personal Data communication. For the purpose of management of the Services listed above, Vibram may disclose Personal Data to its advisers and lawyers as well as to other companies or affiliates of Vibram which cooperate with the latter in the management of the Services both in Italy and abroad.(e.g. by means of orders fulfilment, event organization, parcel delivery, mail and e-mail delivery, processing payments, provision of services supply to customers). These individuals will have access to the data necessary to perform its obligations and fulfill its functions (and will not be authorized to use them for other purposes). Treatment Duration: Personal Data will be stored for the time necessary to provide the required Services, or for the time required by the purposes described in this document.

Please note that any information you include in a message you post to any chat room, forum or other public posting area is available to anyone with Internet access. At any time you can be informed about the existence, content, source, purposes and methods of processing of Personal Data related to you, and the right to request rectification, erasure or blocking of such Personal Data, to the extent permitted under applicable laws.
